He Tere Moana Roa

'He Tere Moana Roa' translates from Māori to English as 'long ocean voyager'. Turtle nesting season is in full swing here on the northeast coast of Florida. There are new nests everyday, and baby turtles will soon hatch, make their way to the surf, and begin their long voyage that will (hopefully) bring them back several years from now to the same beach to lay the eggs of the next generation.
