I am not a sailor, but I enjoy sitting on the beach watching the regatta events on breezy, sunny days. Dozens of white sails stretch from near the beach to the horizon, slowly running before the wind as they tack across the gentle waves. Sailing looks peaceful and exciting at the same time, at least to shore-bound me.
