Under the Milky Way Tonight

Several years ago I volunteered to survey owl populations along the southern border of Wisconsin. The job was to drive about 20 miles along a route of rural roads, stopping every mile for half an hour and listen for owls. These were long evenings, but also fun. One of the highlights was finding a barn owl, which are quite rare in Wisconsin. I heard the bird first, and then saw it winging over the open meadow in front of me. That image of a ghostly barn owl under a star-filled sky has always stuck with me, and I designed this print to commemorate the moment.

Limited edition handmade art prints for sale will be annotated with edition number, title, signature, and year of printing at the bottom of the print. Monotype prints for sale are one-of-a-kind and will be annotated without an edition number. Trial and color proofs, when they are offered for sale, will be annotated with title, year, and a chop symbol instead of a signature. Trial and color proofs are going to be different from the limited edition prints.
